Each of our social media classes focuses on a different topic and seats are limited to 28. Computers will be provided for each participant. Each session will have a main special guest presenter and additional instructors and facilitators to ensure all participants enjoy a hands-on method of learning. Refreshments will be provided by Marketside by Walmart.

June 26 - Yelp

Participants will learn about Yelp and how to create their own business profile

Yelp is a website composed of real reviews by real people about products, services and businesses. It's free to use and is a major resource for establishing your credibility, online presence and search engine recognition. It's a hybrid between social networking and user-reviews, backed by profiles created by businesses about their company and services. Haven't created yours yet? Well, Yelp probably has. Its database of profiles automatically includes most businesses from the Yellow Pages and it's up to you to claim yours and create a profile so that users can know the real you.
